Y&R Recap Nov 24: Danny and Cricket Celebrate Their Dream Wedding While Phyllis Delivers a Stunning Toast
On today’s Young and the Restless (Monday, November 24, 2025), love takes center stage at the GCAC as Cricket and Danny are toasted by the people who have shaped their lives, Daniel delivers a gift straight from the heart, and Phyllis makes a toast to the bride and groom that changes the tone of her day.
Last Episode

On the last episode of Y&R, Phyllis faced fresh accusations on Christine and Danny’s wedding day as suspected sabotage threatened to stop the ceremony.
The Genoa City Athletic Club (GCAC)
Everyone congratulates Danny and Cricket on their wedding.

Cricket is surprised it went so well; their wedding planner wasn’t able to make it!
Diane thinks it’s a pity that Jack had to miss it, too. After all, Jack introduced the happy couple!
The newlyweds kiss and Cricket heads upstairs to change.

Gina asks Danny how he feels now that he’s married the love of his life… Again!
Danny says everything is right with the world now. He talks with Michael and Devon, saying that he’s the luckiest man on the planet, and in his mind, Mrs. Romalotti is the rock star!
People cheer and clap.

Elsewhere, Daniel tells Tessa that he’s nervous… He can’t go through with their song together and she’ll have to do it alone.
Tessa is stunned, but there’s an announcement before she can get any more info from Daniel.

Phyllis thinks they should do something to turn this day around… She can think of more creative ways to spend their afternoon!

Cricket’s GCAC Suite
Nina and Lauren accompany Cricket into her room. Nina tells them that Esther sent the flowers that Cricket was allergic to; she overheard her during the wedding.
Cricket laughs and thinks back to when she was a teenager and used to clip Danny’s picture out of teen magazines… And now she’s married to him again!

The GCAC Dining Room
Cricket comes back, dressed in a gorgeous satin gown.

Gina says they need to give someone else a chance to speak… Like her! She proposes a toast to them and reminds them they had their first date at her restaurant. She knows they missed out on a lot because of certain shrew who will remain nameless. She’s happy that they’ll be together forever. He may be a big rock star, but he’ll always be her baby brother.
People raise their glasses and drink to the happy couple.

Nina tells a story of how Cricket and Danny taught her etiquette. She’s happy she’s there to see them together, and she loves them both!
Another toast, and Michael takes his turn. He says that Danny’s video for “Against All Odds” starred his wife Lauren. Everyone should see it! It’s epic, with the hair and feathers! He says Danny is the only rock star he’d trust to be a friend with Lauren. Danny only has eyes for Cricket, and he’d like to remind everyone that there were two women who have saved his life… The first is Lauren, his beautiful wife, and Cricket is the other one! He also reminds Danny that he donated him a kidney, and if anything goes wrong between the two of them, he’s coming back for the kidney! Everyone laughs.
Lauren makes a short speech, and everyone toasts again.

It’s Daniel’s turn, and he says that Lucy is sorry she couldn’t be there. He was going to read her speech, but he’s the best man and needs to come up with something from the heart. He says that the first time he saw his dad perform on stage, it totally changed him in Daniel’s eyes… He saw how his dad navigated fame and pressure, and got a chance to learn what an exceptional, kind, and sometimes funny person he is. He turns around and says he doesn’t know what to say, but he’s in awe of his dad. His dad’s always been there for him and Lucy, and he’s the best example of the kind of father Daniel wants to be… And Christine is better than the best; she brings joy to his dad! “To my dad and his beautiful new bride… Forever!”

Glasses are clinked as Phyllis and Cane walk into the club. Phyllis grabs a glass of champagne and holds it up. “I’d like to propose a toast, too!”

Michael tells Phyllis it’s not the time.
Christine says she’s deliriously happy, and whatever Phyllis has to say won’t bother her… In fact, it might be entertaining!

Phyllis says her son said he’s never seen Danny so happy, and she has to agree! She tears up and says that she was talking to someone who said that it was healthy to move on from past relationships, and the people who never moved away from it are there in the room… It’s Cricket and Danny! She can see they were meant to be; Danny’s goofy grin whenever he looks at Cricket, and her tenacity… She never gave up, and she finally got her man! She holds up her glass. “Cheers, everyone!”
Daniel leads his mother away.

Amy asks when the music is starting… She’s ready to dance!
The music starts up and everyone begins dancing.

Phyllis’s GCAC Suite
Cane and Phyllis head up to her suite. Cane thinks she was just paying lip service downstairs and wants her to prove she’s over Danny.
Phyllis grins. “Is this proof enough?” She kisses Cane passionately, and he responds. She says they should play a game where every piece of clothing they take off represents baggage they leave behind!

Cane likes this game.
Phyllis removes their shirts and says that her shirt represents the grief she was carrying over Danny and Cricket’s reunion; his shirt represents Lily!
She takes off his belt. This represents his kids and their disapproval!

Phyllis drops her skirt. “This represents the constant need and desire for the losers in town!”
Cane laughs. He figures they don’t have many more regrets to lose.
Phyllis agrees. They’re free to do whatever they want! They kiss again, passionately.

The GCAC Dining Room
Daniel tells Tessa he’s afraid to play the song… His dad is a rock star! He doesn’t want to let him down or embarrass Tessa.

Tessa reminds him he started to play because he needed to get out of his own head and feel grief for the woman he loved. Music connects people to their feelings! He’s got this!
Daniel sighs, gathers himself, and walks onto the dance floor to make an announcement. He has a gift for Danny and Cricket!

Tessa joins him and they sit down. He pulls out his guitar, strums some chords, and Tessa begins to sing.
Danny and Christine smile and dance slowly to the music.
Daniel ends the song together with Christine. “Somethings never burn out.“

Everyone applauds, and Cricket and Danny thank them and congratulate them.
Danny asks if his son wants to follow in his footsteps.
Daniel laughs. They just had a seat to his farewell tour; he won’t be doing this again!

Tessa hugs him. She’s proud of him.
Daniel thanks her for her lessons, sharing her incredible talent with him, and that she’s given him peace of mind.

Danny and Cricket propose another toast. They thank everyone for making this the most special night of their lives. They’ll be taking off to Paris for their honeymoon, and will pop down to say a final goodbye after they’ve changed.
Cricket thanks everyone and reflects that love is rarely easy and sometimes feels impossible, but the journey is worth every bump when you refuse to give up.
Danny says everyone is like a fire in their hearts. They’ve lit the pathway so he and Cricket could find each other again. “Some flames never burn out!”
Everyone raises their glasses in a toast.

Danny and Christine’s GCAC Suite
Christine and Danny enter their room and joke that they’ve finally made it.

They kiss each other passionately and land on the bed.

The GCAC Dining Room
Amy tells a story of attending Traci and Gina’s show in the past when a rabid fan couldn’t leave them alone.

Traci and Gina wonder if they’ve “still got it.”
Nate laughs. He may not be able to sing, but he can be their backup dancer!

Michael and Lauren talk with Nina and Diane. They talk about Chance, and how he’ll always be alive in their hearts. They’ll tell Dominic stories about his heroic father so his memories will last forever!

Devon and Abby dance happily. Devon jokes they’re an “old married couple” now.
Abby laughs and kisses him.

Daniel chides Tessa… If there’s someone who can get him to do something he doesn’t want to, it’s her! They must be good for each other!
Tessa grins. “You think?”

The GCAC Hallways
Cricket and Danny leave their room and run into Cane and Phyllis. Danny is afraid Phyllis will try to start something.

Phyllis says she just wanted to wish them Bon Voyage!
Danny and Cricket are happy. They thank Phyllis and leave.
Cane wonders if what Phyllis just did was for the bride and groom, or for him.
Phyllis smiles. She meant every word!

The GCAC Lobby
Danny and Cricket walk down into the lobby, and everyone cheers and throws rose petals at them as they leave for France.

Later, in the dining room, Michael tells Lauren that the wedding dress was perfection.
Lauren smiles. She thinks they did a fabulous job, and he was the perfect wedding officiant!

Tessa and Daniel agree. The wedding went off perfectly!
Lauren smiles and says their song was the perfect wedding gift. She leaves the club with Michael.

Tessa smiles at Daniel. “What a romantic day!” She can’t think of anything that would make it more perfect.
Daniel can. He leans in and kisses Tessa, and she kisses him back.
Phyllis and Cane walk in as they’re kissing. Phyllis does a double-take.
